This move aims to ensure that residents in Millom have access to accredited face-to-face support on a one-to-one basis. The Phoenix Advice and Guidance Team offer assistance with various crucial matters including Universal Credit, job search support, benefit evaluation, and assessment services. Additionally, help is also readily available for low-income families seeking guidance and support to steer them through the cost-of-living crisis. Clients can also make free use of the on-site computers and internet connection.

“We are excited to announce this change in schedule to better accommodate the needs of the Millom community,” said Grace Starkey, Lead Advice and Guidance worker with the Advice and Guidance Team.

“By shifting our presence from Fridays to Tuesdays, we hope to make it easier for residents to access the support and assistance they require for their employment and financial support.”
