All Vehicle Salvage – Theres money in that metal!

At a time where we are all facing the same struggle, the rising cost of living as well as Christmas lurking around the corner, many of us are feeling the pending anxiety and pressure to spend money we simply do not have – It might then, come as a little boost to realise you could be sitting on a decent little money-pot in the form of scrap metal.

All Vehicle Salvage (AVS) has been operating for over 30 years and has helped put tens of thousands into people’s pockets. Yard owner Trevor began his career as a mechanic, but he became fed up with fixing cars and found great satisfaction in breaking them down instead!

It was in 1990 that he and his wife Jackie bought the yard in Workington and around 10 years ago bought their second yard in Flimby.

They accept almost everything that is predominantly metal and depending on the weight can put a little cash into your back pocket They don’t however take fridge freezers, beer barrels or gas canisters of any kind.

All you have to do is give them a call and have a chat about what you have and then rock up with your junk, they’ll do the rest and then pop the money in your bank or give you a cheque the very same day!

Jackie said: “We are a family business that strives to be fair. We have been doing this for over 30 years and we pride ourselves on our friendly and approachable team. We welcome anyone to give us a call, if they have any enquiries about scrap items, we are always happy to help where we can.”

So, if you’ve got an old motor that’s been sitting out on the drive rusting away, a pile of piping that’s been an eyesore in your garden or a shed full of broken and useless equipment, pack it up and head to AVS today and turn that scrap into much needed cash.
