The Big Sale at Oak Tree Animal’s Charity
Oak Tree Animal’s Charity will be hosting its biggest sale event of the year. On Saturday 26th August between 11.00am and 3.00pm, the doors of Orchard Yard will be open to boot sellers, tack sellers, craft sellers, and members of the public looking for a bargain. Pitches are limited, on a first come first served basis and must be booked in advance directly with Oak Tree (for details please email [email protected]).
The Orchard Yard jumble sale will also be in full swing alongside stallholders and there will be a wide array of second-hand pet equipment, equine tack, clothes, homeware, electronics and more.
There will also be delicious cakes and refreshments available from The Tearoom and Orchard Yard, and Oak Tree Farm will be open 10.00am to 4.00pm for visitors to see some of the horses, donkeys and goats in the fields. As always, dogs on leads are welcome on site and can be taken across the road for a walk in Blackburn Woods. Parking and entry are both free.
All of the money raised at the sale will go towards helping all the animals at Oak Tree and in the wider community. It currently costs approximately £1.2 million a year to run the charity, therefore the public’s ongoing support is essential and gratefully received by all at Oak Tree.
The Big Sale will be at Orchard Yard, Oak Tree Farm, Wetheral Shields, Carlisle, CA4 8JA.
