Carlisle Ambassadors extend FREE MEMBERSHIP until September 2024
Carlisle Ambassadors – the largest networking organisation in Cumbria is growing at an exponential rate and is ensuring that all businesses, whatever their size, wherever they are in Cumbria, can be a part of something really special.
With membership on track to hit 700 members, there is no sign of slowing down anytime soon, and with the offer of free membership, which has been extended until September 2024, this will enable many businesses to get on board at no cost, which is critical in testing times such as these.
The regular events bring organisations together from across Cumbria and also nationally, all under one roof. It is not uncommon to see one-man businesses chatting with CEOs of regional and national businesses.
Egos are left at the door, creating a laid-back, enjoyable atmosphere where relationships are fostered and advice is offered over a brew.
How much does it cost to join the Carlisle Ambassadors?
Carlisle Ambassadors Project Manager, Michelle Maste
We wanted to support our members through this difficult economic time, and extending free membership will be helpful to so many people. Businesses really need support and help at the moment, and they are finding that the membership is providing that help.
How many people attend?
“Each event we host sees between 200 and 250 businesses attend and come together, which has proven to be a great opportunity for so many local companies. We have seen many businesses do so well via the relationships they have formed at Carlisle Ambassadors.
Do you have to be a Carlisle-based company to become a member?
“One of the most frequently asked questions I get is, ‘Do you have to be a Carlisle-based business to become a member of Carlisle Ambassadors?’ The answer is an unequivocal no. A third of our members are from outside of Carlisle, with a few nationals as well. We see businesses attend from the top to the bottom of the county and everywhere in between.
What does it cost when the free offer is up?
Michelle said, “After the offer, the cost would be £50 (not for profit rate), £95, £195, and £295 a year per company (based on local staff numbers).
This includes the opportunity to attend all of our events, have a showcase at some point, if and when available, and bring three staff to each event. We don’t charge for our events, lunch, etc. (it’s included in the fee).
We don’t restrict how many from each category or industry can join or attend; everyone is welcome.
We cover all sectors, including tourism, hospitality, industry, commercial, leisure, marketing, charity, and every other sector out there. We leave no one behind.”
“Our next event is on July 18th at Carlisle Racecourse, where we will be focusing on manufacturing, trade and export.”
