The Gosforth Hall Inn is a 17th century building that has been transformed into a stunning restaurant, bar, mediterranean beer garden and B&B. There are 214 Wainwright fells, each varying from the next, and every year people flood into Cumbria from all over the UK and further afield to tick them off. This year, Gosforth Hall is offering a fantastic deal that allows you to not only take on five of the famous fell walks but also return to a comfy bed and take advantage of their vibrant and popular restaurant and bar.
Not only do they have their luxury B&B rooms, which are simply stunning, but they also have an annex and apartment available. The Annex offers 13 ensuite bedrooms, each with super king-size beds that can also be easily converted to twins. It’s the ideal place to stay with your family or friends while completing the five local Wainwrights or even just enjoying everything else the surrounding area has to offer.

The Weekend Wainwright’s offer takes place on May 4th, 5th, and 6th and includes bed and breakfast, tea and cake on arrival, an evening meal on Friday and Saturday, a packed lunch for both days and a free Wainwright’s logging book in each room. There is also a special offer on selected dates whereby a local mountain guide can accompany the group across the peaks. Prices vary depending on the time of year; however, if you book the whole package, including the mountain guide, then it’s only £650 per couple.*
