The Blue Bell in Dalston is back!
The pub, which is at the heart of the community, was re-opened by Mike and Steve Black in August last year, and the future looks bright as they bring life back into this community hub.
Mike and his son Ste decided to take on the challenge of this country pub because they wanted to give the community a local, friendly place to come together and enjoy good food, great beer and be with friends.
Their food is fantastic and all homemade. Offering up good-sized portions of traditional favourites you would expect to find in any good country pub, such as homemade pies, fish and chips, and burgers, you’re guaranteed to leave with a full belly and a smile on your face.
Mike said,
“We’re situated just a stone’s throw away from some fantastic local river walks, the pub is the ideal place to warm up by our fires and relax after a day out walking. We welcome well-behaved dogs inside, where they can enjoy some lovely treats at the bar”
With a decent-sized beer garden, you can soak up the sun while refreshing yourself with a nice cold pint in the summer months to come.
Food is available from Thursday to Sunday, but this is subject to change, as they will soon be serving a lunch menu.
Don’t forget Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day are fast approaching, and Mike is offering his guests something special. They will be offering a deal whereby the customer can arrange to be picked up for their evening meal in style, with a pick-up in a limousine. This is the perfect way to treat your loved one and make them feel extra special. More details about this deal will be posted on their social media page over the next few weeks, so keep your eyes out for that or call the pub for details.
As the year goes on, Mike is looking to bring the community spirit back to the pub by bringing in a pool table, setting up darts nights, and hosting live music and quiz nights shortly!
