Carlisle Shoppers Make Pilgrimage to New Primark
Carlisle’s shopping scene has had a huge boost. The city’s very own Primark store has thrown open its doors this morning to an excited crowd of Cumbrian shoppers. Keen shoppers made the pilgrimage to the national chain with queues forming outside from 9am.
The store was officially opened at 10am by the Mayor of Carlisle, Councillor Colin Stotthard and showcases two floors packed to the brim with the hottest new trends in British fashion.
The store has been designed in line with the chain’s contemporary style and stocks all the latest trends in: women’s, men’s and children’s fashion including footwear, accessories, lingerie and homeware.

The Mayor of Carlisle, Colin Stotthard said: “I am thrilled that Primark is opening a new store in Carlisle. We have hoped for so long that they would come. It’s finally happened. The whole city benefits from the opening. Thank you Primark.”
