Isuzu UK has unveiled the new Isuzu D-Max EV in right-hand drive at the Commercial Vehicle Show 2026, marking the first fully electric pick-up in the UK with over 1-tonne payload, 3.5-tonne towing capacity and permanent four-wheel drive.

It is powered by a 66.9 kWh battery with dual motors producing 149.3 kW and 347.6 Nm of torque, reaching 0–62 mph in 10.1 seconds and over 80 mph top speed. The vehicle offers selectable regenerative braking, an Eco mode for extended range, and charging from 0–80% in about one hour using DC fast charging.

Built on a strengthened ladder chassis with upgraded suspension, it delivers improved handling, reduced noise and vibration, and strong off-road ability including 210mm ground clearance and 600mm wading depth.

Available in Extended Cab and Double Cab with eDL40 and eV-Cross trims, it includes features such as Rough Terrain Mode, heated seats, dual-zone climate control and advanced driver displays. It also comes with an eight-year battery warranty.

Isuzu says the D-Max EV combines traditional durability with zero-emission performance, with deliveries starting May 2026.
