Suzuki is thrilled to announce that the Swift Hybrid has won the Small Car category at the 2025 UK Car of the Year Awards (UKCOTY).
After undergoing rigorous testing, the Swift impressed judges with its blend of value, practicality, and performance, earning praise from various jury members.
Alex Robbins praised the Swift for offering “honest motoring at a reasonable price,” highlighting its fun-to-drive nature and low running costs. Trinity Francis noted the Swift’s “balance between good value, economy, and curb appeal,” particularly appreciating its practical boot space. Meanwhile, Natisha Chatten highlighted the car’s simplicity and reliability, calling it a refreshing change in a market of complex vehicles.
The 2024 Swift Hybrid, launched in spring, has been well-received for its impressive standard equipment and enhanced safety features. It boasts very low CO2 emissions of just 99g/km and is priced at £19,199 for the Motion model with manual transmission. The Swift Motion grade includes 16-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps, navigation, adaptive cruise control, keyless entry, advanced safety systems, and more.
For those considering financing, Suzuki offers a 0% PCP agreement, with an example of £4,996 deposit and 24 monthly payments of £139 for the Motion model. After the term, an optional final payment can be made to keep the car. Additionally, Suzuki offers up to seven years of free warranty, renewable every time the car undergoes a scheduled service within the Suzuki Dealer network.
With its combination of affordability, low emissions, advanced features, and simplicity, the Suzuki Swift Hybrid continues to set a new standard in the small car category.
