KGM Motors UK has officially launched the all-new KGM Torres Hybrid, available in showrooms from today. Expanding the award-winning Torres family, the hybrid joins the petrol-powered Torres and all-electric Torres EVX, offering drivers the perfect balance of power, efficiency, and practicality.
Developed in collaboration with BYD, a global leader in eco-friendly technology, the Torres Hybrid introduces KGM’s Dual Tech Hybrid system, combining a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with in-series dual motors. Delivering a total of 177hp through a 6-speed automatic e-DHT transmission, the system supports nine different driving modes – including EV, HEV (series-parallel), and engine drive – ensuring a smooth, quiet, and adaptable drive in all conditions.
The Torres Hybrid achieves up to 46.1mpg (WLTP) with CO₂ emissions of just 139g/km, while offering a towing capacity of 1.3 tonnes. It can drive on electric power alone up to 62mph, and regenerative braking with smart traffic-adaptive control enhances real-world efficiency.

Designed for both strength and sophistication, the Torres Hybrid combines rugged SUV styling with a premium, tech-focused interior. Highlights include 20-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, a 12.3-inch digital cluster, 12.3-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and TomTom Navigation, plus heated and ventilated leather seats, dual-zone climate control, and ambient lighting. With up to 1,662 litres of cargo space, it leads its class in practicality.
Safety remains central to KGM’s engineering, with 78% high-tensile steel construction, eight airbags, and a full suite of advanced driver-assistance systems, including Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Keeping Assist, and Rear Cross-Traffic Warning.
Available exclusively in high-spec K40 trim, the all-new KGM Torres Hybrid is priced at £35,995 and covered by KGM’s 5-year / 100,000-mile warranty. Customers can choose from five striking colours: Space Black, Dandy Blue, Iron Silver, Grand White, and Forest Green.
