The all-electric Škoda Enyaq has added another accolade to its growing list, being crowned Best Car for Dogs at Autotrader’s 2025 Drivers’ Choice Awards. Praised for its spacious interior, calming drive, and pet-friendly design, the Enyaq was voted top by real car owners.
Unlike traditional awards judged by experts, Autotrader’s awards reflect genuine consumer feedback. Owners highlighted the Enyaq’s ease of access, comfort on long journeys, and generous boot space as key strengths—ideal for dog owners and their furry passengers. One voter noted: “It’s big enough to take the family and dog out too. Combined with its safety features and infotainment, it’s one of the best cars I’ve owned.”
This isn’t Škoda’s first dog-friendly triumph. The Kodiaq, Octavia Estate, and Superb Estate have all previously earned top titles for pet suitability from various UK automotive platforms. Škoda’s commitment to canine comfort goes further, with research led by vet Dr Scott Miller revealing that dogs are significantly calmer in EVs—showing lower heart rates in the Enyaq compared to petrol or diesel alternatives.
