Since 1912 Linton Tweeds have been the renowned manufacturers of high quality, innovative woven fabrics for the couture and designer ladies wear market.
Our long-standing relationship with Chanel and many other fashion houses around the world have ensured that we remain at the forefront of our industry.
All of our fabrics and accessories are designed and woven at our mill in Carlisle. Our quintessential style represents our dedication to embracing new technology in weaving and our relentless quest to source new and unusual yarns from around the world to incorporate into both our fabric and accessory designs. Our sumptuous and elegant fabrics are used in ladies’ jackets, skirts and coats and latterly in our accessories collection. Many shoe and bag designers, in collaboration with Linton Tweeds, have also utilised our fabrics in their designs very successfully.
To make our unique designs more accessible we decided in 2015 to develop a range of accessories using many of the yarns and techniques used in our fabrics. The range currently includes scarves, purses, throws and cushions and we are developing the range further with new designs in the pipeline for Autumn – Winter 2016-17.
A number of our existing customers are excited about the introduction of our accessories and we are developing bespoke items for their collections.
