Carlisle International Market heads to Carlisle this Easter!
Hop on down to town – Carlisle International Market heads to Carlisle city centre during the Easter Bank Holiday weekend!
Forget bunnies and daffodils, you really know Easter has landed when the International Market sets up in Carlisle City Centre, drawing thousands of visitors to the city centre every day over the 5 day event.
The city centre will be abound with colour – vibrancy – sights and aromas from across the continent, so expect the exotic from a multitude of stalls, bringing something different to the region.

Handmade crafts – Gifts – Furniture – Flowers and not forgetting the Food offerings where there will be a tempting selection of continental and international flavours to sample, including Spanish Paella, Greek Gyros, a new Greek Vegan Deli serving a lot of tasty treats, Chinese, Indian, Polish, German, and other exotic street foods.
There will also be a great selection of fresh foods including olives, British cheeses and chutneys, cakes, salami and pick and mix sweets.

Plan Ahead: Stay overnight and discover all that Carlisle has to offer or stay for the whole weekend as there is so much to see and do in and around Carlisle.

“It’s great to have The International Market back in town once again and it’s always fantastic to see the centre transformed and so vibrant.”
“Overall the event brings thousands of people into Carlisle city centre, people forget how vibrant and beautiful Carlisle is and many return after rediscovering Carlisle because of their visit during the International Market which is a real boost to our local economy and our local business community.”

“This event is one of many that we will be holding in Carlisle and across Cumberland this year, including The Light District: Space: God, The Universe and Everything at St Bees Priory on the 14th & 15th March and in Wigton, our first Taste event of the year will take place on the 27th April.
