West Coast Comedy Festival Returns in 2026 with Flo & Joan, Kiri Pritchard-McLean and Tom Little
Following the side-splitting success of last year’s event, the West Coast Comedy Festival is set to return in 2026 with an impressive line-up of comedians, live music, and plenty of food and drink to keep audiences entertained throughout the day.
The seven-hour comedy extravaganza will take place at Rosehill Theatre and promises a packed programme featuring five top comedians, alongside a festival atmosphere designed to celebrate the very best in stand-up and musical comedy.
Leading the bill this year are acclaimed musical comedy duo Flo & Joan. Known for their witty songs, sharp satire and memorable television appearances, the pair have become household names through performances on Live at the Apollo, The Royal Variety Performance, Have I Got News for You and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Many will also recognise them from Nationwide Building Society’s advertising campaigns.
Their appearance at Rosehill offers a rare opportunity for local audiences to see them in an intimate setting before they embark on a major tour that is already nearing sell-out in many venues across the country. As part of a packed festival line-up, their stop in Whitehaven is expected to be one of the highlights of the event.
Festival organisers have also announced two homegrown comedy talents who will bring a distinctly Cumbrian flavour to the stage.
Tom Little has become something of a local comedy legend since gaining attention for performing stand-up on the Number 600 bus during a particularly cold Blue Monday. Since then, he has built a reputation as one of the country’s most inventive comedians, winning the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year award in 2015 and reaching the finals of the BBC New Comedy Award. Known for his surreal observations and unpredictable storytelling, Little’s performance promises to deliver plenty of unexpected laughs.
Joining him will be Kiri Pritchard-McLean, one of the UK’s most recognisable comedy performers. A familiar face on television panel shows and co-host of one of Britain’s most popular true-crime podcasts, Pritchard-McLean will make her Rosehill debut as she prepares material for her latest stand-up show ahead of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Festival-goers will have the chance to hear brand-new jokes before they reach national audiences.
With more acts still to be announced, organisers are encouraging comedy fans to secure their places early. Early-bird tickets are now on sale, offering audiences the chance to enjoy a full day of laughter, live entertainment and festival atmosphere on Cumbria’s west coast.
