There’s a new shop taking Whitehaven by storm
Ethereal Stormz is a brand new alternative shop on King Street in Whitehaven.

Unlike any other shop in town, they bring something totally different to the high street with a range of alternative gifts, homeware and crystals!
Opening in January this year the shop is based on King Street in the old Cumbria Properties unit and they have had fantastic feedback so far, Julie Graham, owner, said: “We’ve had lovely comments and feedback from the public, we have loads to offer and are always open to suggestions from people. We are constantly updating
our range.”
They sell a huge range of crystals, from large pieces of labradorite which look stunning on a living room shelf to pocket size quartz to keep on hand all the time, you’re sure to find something special. The variety of crystals they stock is unmatched by anywhere else in Whitehaven.
As soon as you enter the shop you’re hit with the familiar smell of incense, which drifts around the shop, emanating from their massive range of various incense sticks even stocking popular brand Sayta Sai Baba.
A hugely popular item is their crystal skulls, Julie said: “The skulls just fly out, they’re lovely items and quite hard to find!”
Aswell as their giftware they also have a range of homeware items, from witchy ornaments to dreamcatchers, mugs and loads more.
Its the perfect shop for anyone who loves all things alternative. Whether it’s something for yourself or a unique gift for someone special, Ethereal Stormz is the perfect shop for something a bit quirky.
With tarot cards, dreamcatchers, candles and loads more it’s definitely worth popping in, even just for a browse, Julie said: “We want to encourage everyone and anyone to pop in and just have a look at what we have, there’s never any pressure to buy anything, we’re more than happy for folk to just have a look around out of curiosity!”
Their sister company is Antiques and Clocks which is run by Martin White. They have a huge range of antique grandfather clocks, wall clocks and other antiques.
The shop is an aladdin’s cave, filled with a variety of unique treasures, the perfect place to pick up something special.
