On Your Mark’s – Get Set – Go. Here we catch up with Mark Hetherington from Penrith.
During the day, Mark is a Quantity Surveyor, but when he gets the chance, you will find Mark out and about roaming the Cumbrian fells and countryside in search of that perfect shot.
Mark uses a Sony Full Frame A7iv with Sony 24-105mm, Sony 100-400mm, Tamron 17-28mm and Tamron 70-300mm lenses with a Benro tripod.
Mark said, “ I have been shooting seriously since 2021 but have always been interested in photography as I spend a lot of time outdoors. I’m either climbing or running in The Lake District, which gives me an appreciation of the outdoors and takes me into some amazing locations.”
Mark’s top tips for someone taking up photography are to get outside and give it a go – practice – practice and practice and take lots of photos and learn from them.
