Artist Jennifer Guest began her creative journey with a BA (Hons) in Art & Design before pursuing a career as a therapist and author. Recently, she has returned to making art full time and relocated from Scotland to Cumbria, where the surrounding landscapes and waterscapes provide daily inspiration.
Her process begins with coloured pencil, laying down rich layers of tone, followed by detailed ink drawings. By retracing her lines, she creates bold, textured works that echo the style of lino prints or woodcuts while retaining the delicacy of drawing.

Her current collection, Meditative Waters, celebrates the rivers, lakes, and coastlines of both Scotland and Cumbria, capturing their tranquility and sense of wonder.
Fine art prints of her originals are stocked in galleries and arts gift shops across Cumbria. The Meditative Waters collection is currently available at Gallery North West until October 8th.
