Glow Trail at Lowther Castle & Gardens

Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice, are inviting the community to come together for Glow Trail, a magical new fundraising event at Lowther Castle & Gardens.
Enjoy a memorable evening as you follow an illuminated route through the gardens, complete with glow features, memory stations and live entertainment from local artists. Registration will begin at 6.00pm with the walk itself beginning as the sun sets around 8.00pm. Suitable for all ages, the gentle 6km is a 2 lap route of the gardens with many opportunities to remember and celebrate your loved ones as you glow!
Eleanor Viney, Head of Income Generation at Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw, said:

As well as enjoying a memorable evening in a unique setting, those who sign up will receive a remembrance ribbon to personalise, and T-shirts will also be available, with the space to personalise a message for those walking in memory of loved ones.
Participants will also have access to fundraising support before and on the day, including a link to the hospice’s online fundraising page, sponsor forms and practical fundraising guidance.
While the entry fee helps cover the cost of running the event, the hospice is encouraging everyone who takes part to raise as much as they can. The target fundraising amount is £50, which would provide compassionate, specialist care and support to local families when they need it most.
