Can’t sing or play an instrument? No problem! Just tell the Ai your wildest musical idea and watch it come to life, not by human hands, but through the eerie brilliance of artificial intelligence.
This groundbreaking event will shift the spotlight from talented human musicians to AI, demonstrating an uncanny blend of creativity and technology.
“The idea behind the AI open mic night is to demonstrate the incredible ability of using AI to make music in a fun and scary way. I find it alarming the changes that are about to come to the music industry, and this event will demonstrate how easy it can be to now make music with no musical background,” says Rory Wood, the man behind TUNED INTO TECH.
“I’ve been in the music industry myself for well over a decade first as a signed artist and DJ to today where I’m working with Beatport who are the largest distributors of electronic music on the internet. I see the potential and the dangers of what AI Music will bring to this industry, and the AI Open Mic Night will demonstrate this”
“Our mission is to prove the brilliance of AI music by having a pub full of drunks create a track so exceptional, it might end up in the UK charts. There’s already enough rubbish on the radio that charts, so why not have a room full of pissed up Brits give it a go too?”
There’s also £300 in cash prizes up for grabs for the best tracks created on the night.
The entire event will be live-streamed, allowing a global audience to tune in and enjoy the performances.

TUNED INTO TECH invites local creatives, tech enthusiasts, musicians, and curious minds to witness a night where man meets machine. Participants will “perform” by shouting out their ideas for a song. In just 20 seconds, a full-length track with lyrics and artwork will be generated and performed by the AI.
The event will take place on July 25th at The Yellow Earl in Whitehaven and will be hosted by TUNED INTO TECH.
