Creative Memory Writing -We’ve all done things and seen things; things that we’d like to write about for others to read. It could be a thought, an event, a memory, or something you saw happen, or heard happen, to someone else.
Wednesday 1 August
Changing Impressions – Using a selection of textiles, plants and other objects we will explore the process of frottage (rubbings) using fabric and fabric pastels. The idea is to look at how when we create an impression of something, how we see the object change in the same way that each time we share a memory it changes slightly.
Wednesday August 8th
Remembrance and memories.
Using objects from our collections Cumbria’s Museum of Military Life will explore the meaning of remembrance and what it means to you. Your design can be left in a meaningful place as personal memorials for someone to be remembered.
