Multi award-winning Luna Amatores is on the up and up.

Luna Amatores is certainly one of the most unique and quirky shops in Cumbria, and one of the most popular because of its diverse and vast range of stock despite only being open two years they have already won multiple awards.
Specialising in all things alternative you will find various items, from stunning crystals in all sizes to handmade jewellery, homeware, and even locally made wax melts, candles, and other creations.
So far Korin has been awarded, Best Crystal Jewellery & Homewares Company – UK, from LUX Global Excellence Awards, and more recently Korin’s shop was awarded ‘Unique Jewellery Business of the Year’ for the 2024 Innovation & Excellence Global Awards, and Luna Amatores snapped up ‘Best Handcrafted Crystal Jewellery & Homeware Shop 2024 – North West England’ for The Perfect Gift Awards. Not bad considering the shop has only been open for 2 years…
Korin started the business in 2013 from home, she then expanded and started doing pop-up shops until eventually in 2022 she opened her first shop in fisher street galleries and eventually into her current premises on Castle Street, Carlisle. Korin said: “I knew I needed to find somewhere more permanent and because there was nowhere selling alternative jewellery, gifts, and homeware in Carlisle, despite the demand being there I wanted to give people something a bit different!”

The shop is beautifully laid out with a myriad of stunning items to be found speckled on the shelves, adorning the walls, and dotted all around the premises, it is worth popping in just to see all the wonderful things on offer.
Korin makes a lot of the jewellery herself, with the most popular at the minute being her chunky chain crystal necklaces, her most recent stock sold out within four minutes of being launched online!
