Join over 100 exhibitors from across the UK, Europe and beyond. All exhibitors bring distinctive, individual styles. Set in the backdrop of Hutton-in-the-Forest on the edge of the beautiful Lake District National Park.

Fake Festival – Carlisle

13th August 2022

Carlisle Fake Festival is a tribute-based music event and this year they are bringing 6 of their ‘fake bands’ to Carlisle – Expect professional ‘touring-grade’ tribute bands who put on a superb performance. They look, sound and move like the real rock stars – you have to see them to believe it. Headlining the Carlisle festival this year are Queen tribute band Flash.

They will be joined on the day by The Killers tribute band The Fillers, The Rolling Stones tribute band The Stones, Duran Duran tribute band Duran, David Bowie tribute band Aladdinsane and Green Day tribute band Green Date.

The gig is held under a giant marquee that ensures a warm, lively, inside atmosphere, so you can really enjoy the music.

Dalemain Classic Car Event

August 21st

The biggest Classic Car event in the region returns to Dalemain in 2022! This historic occasion promises to be the most fantastic show yet. Visit for a day packed full of entertainment, with autotests, arena displays, music and discounted entry to Dalemain Mansion & Historic Gardens.

Birdsowald Roman Fort

Saturday 27 – Monday 29 August

Roman soldiers from all over Britannia and beyond compete in a Roman artillery competition, unique to Birdoswald Roman Fort and English Heritage. Teams will compete with spear, bow, catapulta and ballista in a genuine competition of strength and skill. Cheer on your favourite crew! Also featuring ‘Have a Go Roman Drill’ for children, with their Roman soldier Marcus Vulpes.

Silloth Carnival

28th -30th August

Firmly established in Allerdale’s events calendar, the Silloth carnival provides a great day out full of excitement and colour. Watch the amazing floats and participants glide by and then make the most of everything that this great seaside town has to offer. There will be a huge range of activities throughout the day with a funfair, live music, craft stalls, children’s entertainment and loads more…And guess what? There is no entry fee, just bring yourselves and enjoy the day!
