Cumbria Guide’s Easter Round-up!

The Easter Bunny is preparing his basket and getting ready to hop on up to Cumbria to bring some Easter fun.

There are lots of fun family events happening all over the county, here we have compiled a few of our favourites!

Camping At Cardewlees

Acorn Bank –  Easter Trail
28 March – 14 April; 10:30 – 15:30

This spring, treat the whole family to a world of adventure at Acorn Bank on an Easter trail. Make your way along the trail and find nature-inspired activities for the whole family.

The trail takes place between 28 March and 14 April, from 10:30am to 3:30pm, so come along and explore Acorn Bank – there’ll be ten activities across site to entertain and stretch little legs. £3 per trail, which includes an Easter trail sheet, bunny ears and dairy or vegan and Free From* chocolate egg.

*Suitable for milk, egg, gluten, peanut and tree nut allergies.

Hop into a world of Easter excitement at Muncaster! Get creative and test your problem-solving skills at our Protect the Egg Workshop!  Design and craft a protective shield for your egg – then brace yourself as these creations face the ultimate test in The Big Egg Drop from the castle roof!  Will your shield hold up and safeguard your egg from the fall?

The Big Muncaster Egg Hunt will take place each day. Successful searchers will be rewarded with an Easter Treat.

Explore the gardens with our Easter Spring Trail – a delightful adventure for the whole family.

This Easter, make memories and enjoy a day filled with egg-citement and fun at Muncaster!

Children’s tickets include: Protect the Egg & The Big Egg Drop, The Big Muncaster Egg Hunt and The Easter Trail.

Easter Family Raceday

Join Carlisle Racecourse for an Easter afternoon jam-packed with family fun! This year’s theme is superheroes!

Wear your favourite superhero costume and you could win a prize, meet and take photos with your favourite superheroes and learn their best moves, create your very own superhero with its own special superpower and take part in superhero flash mobs throughout the afternoon!

All of this to go alongside facepainting throughout the day, lots of inflatable fun and thrilling jump racing.

Spring Workshops

Join us for a spring-themed craft workshop to make your own cuddly pop-pom animals and learn how baby animals use down, fur and feathers to stay warm and dry in the spring weather.
£10 per child, includes one accompanying adult.

Vulcan Park – Easter Trail

On April 1st Workingtons Vulcan Park will be scattered with missing bunnies. Join in and see if you can spot them all. The event is free and the Easter Bunny will also be making an appearance giving out some yummy easter treats!
