Come January, we all need something to look forward to as we battle through the longest month in the world. By the time we get to January 364th, we just can’t wait to dive into February and beyond.
Anyway, hang tight, as we have the perfect tonic, especially for all you business folks out there!
Carlisle Ambassadors are back at Carlisle Racecourse on March 26th.
For those who have attended Carlisle Ambassadors events over the last 11 years, many will know what a great pick-me-up they are, as people come together from across the county and beyond to engage, connect, and make lasting connections that benefit everyone involved.
“…from one-man bands to high-flying CEOs, mix, chat, and leave all egos firmly at the doorstep.”
Since its inception in 2015, Carlisle Ambassadors has grown dramatically and is currently the largest networking organization in the county. However, this is a slightly different gig; people from all sectors and backgrounds – from one-man bands to high-flying CEOs, mix, chat, and leave all egos firmly at the doorstep.
It is this relaxed, laid-back approach that has helped Carlisle Ambassadors grow to its current levels, all while doing exactly what it was always meant to do: break down barriers and enable people to come together, helping businesses connect, flourish, and ensuring work stays local to help Cumbria’s economy thrive.

Project Manager Michelle Masters has been at the helm of Carlisle Ambassadors since its formation. When asked about the highlights, Michelle said, “Bringing people together from across Cumbria and the North West while highlighting the benefits and features of doing business here in Carlisle and the wider region. We’ve helped businesses survive and thrive through the ups and downs of the last 11 years.
“What I’ve absolutely delighted in has been the creation of projects that have been so positive for Carlisle in particular, such as ‘Give a Day to the City.’ So many organizations came out in force to make a real difference. The enthusiasm, time, and passion from the local business community were simply inspirational and moving, to be honest. Our Young Ambassadors program was another highlight and a fantastic success.”
If you are in business and want to connect with others across all sectors from the local region in a bubbly, vibrant, relaxed setting, then head to Carlisle Ambassadors, get your name on the list, and explore the opportunities awaiting you and your business.
