PREPARING YOUR HOME & GARDEN FOR AUTUMN
Leaves fall, tasks call!
by Danielle Murphy
As the days grow shorter and the temperatures drop, autumn is the perfect time to get your home and garden ready for the colder months ahead.
Start by clearing fallen leaves and debris from lawns and gutters to prevent blockages and keep your garden healthy. Prune shrubs, deadhead perennials, and plant bulbs now to enjoy spring blooms.
Indoors, check your heating systems, seal draughty windows and doors, and stock up on cosy essentials like blankets and warm lighting. Autumn is also a great time to declutter, organise storage spaces, and bring seasonal touches, think candles, cushions, and autumnal décor, to make your home warm and welcoming.
