Rosehill Announces “World’s Biggest Liar” as final West Coast Comedy Festival Surprise
Rosehill has unveiled the final addition to its West Coast Comedy Festival programme, with a live “World’s Biggest Liar” competition set to take place as part of this year’s event.
Delivered in partnership with Jennings Brewery, the competition invites members of the public to take to the stage and compete in a humorous test of storytelling and deception. Three selected contestants will go head-to-head, each performing a five-minute routine after which a panel of judges will then question each contestant.
The competition will conclude with a live reveal and crowning of the “World’s Biggest Liar,” with the winner receiving a case of Jennings beer and a trophy. Runners up will receive eight bottles of Jenning’s finest beers.
Rosehill is now inviting entrants to register their interest by emailing [email protected] by Monday 29th June at 09:00.
Participants will be required to prepare a five-minute routine for performance at the festival on Saturday 11 July.
The competition is open to all West Coast Comedy Festival ticket holders, though politicians and solicitors are politely excluded for obvious reasons.
The “World’s Biggest Liar” competition forms part of the broader West Coast Comedy Festival which will take place at Rosehill and kicks off from 13:00 on Saturday 11th July 2026. With Flo & Joan, Kiri Pritchard-McLean, Ali Woods and Tom Little, comedy lovers won’t want to miss this 7-hour extravaganza, packed with 5 amazing comedians, great music, and some delicious food and drink.
