Music Review: Redfish Blues Band – Together is Better
Together is Better is the shiny new album from Cumbria’s Redfish Blues Band, and what a delight this is.
Music for grown-ups was my first thought. Delicious in every sense of the word and so well produced, this band is carving out a fantastic reputation in the blues world, and this album really hits the spot.
I can tell you it’s one of the best albums I’ve heard in a long time. So well produced, amazing vocals, no BS where the musicality is concerned, nothing is wasted, and every note hit is there for a reason, and what’s not there simply isn’t needed. These really are on fire, and their first original album is packed with ten belting tracks.
The album has been exceptionally well received by the music industry, particularly those who are at the heart of all things blues. Blues Matters Magazine’s take on Redfish Blues Band is as follows:
