The Open Week at Austin Friars is taking place between 13th – 17th October.
The Open Week at Austin Friars this October offers the perfect time for you and your child to discover what opportunities are available in a Friars education.
With it’s ambition to educate the ‘whole person’, Austin Friars equips pupils with not only knowledge in the conventional sense, but with skills for life, ensuring that when students are ready to leave the school behind, they do so with the world at their feet. Subject-specialist teaching starts from age 3, and the Junior School pupils have access to the full facilities including science laboratories, design technology workshop, drama studio and an all-weather sports Astro.

With a curriculum that is broad and balanced, there are possibilities of academic achievement, creative freedom and sporting excellence. An extensive extra-curricular offering is open to pupils of all ages, and a competitive weekend sporting fixture list for Senior School pupils complements the all-round education provided.
Open Week, which will be held from 13th – 17th October, will give parents and prospective pupils a chance to experience Austin Friars first hand and get a taste for the flavour of life at the school where a familial sense of community underpins everything.
Tours covering all areas of the school – Pre-School, Junior School and Senior School – led by a senior member of staff, will be available at a variety of times for families to book onto, giving prospective pupils and families the opportunity to view the School ‘in session’ and get a feel for the school’s character and values.
