Great British Summertime Pass Helps Families Make the Most of Summer at Walby Farm Park

With the cost of keeping children entertained over the school holidays continuing to rise, award-winning Walby Farm Park near Carlisle has launched its new Great British Summertime Pass, giving families unlimited visits throughout the summer for one fixed price.

The pass, which runs up to 1 September, allows visitors to return as often as they like during the summer holidays. Whether it’s a full day out packed with activities or a few hours to burn off some energy, families have the flexibility to enjoy Walby Farm Park again and again without trying to fit everything into a single visit.

The new pass has been introduced as part of the Government’s Great British Summer Savings Scheme, which includes a temporary reduction in VAT on family attraction passes. Rather than retaining the saving, Walby Farm Park has passed it directly on to visitors, making this year’s pass even better value for families.

The Great British Summertime Pass is priced at £37.18 per child and £33.69 per adult, giving unlimited admission throughout the summer holidays.

Katie Milbourn, Director at Walby Farm Park, said:

“We know the summer holidays can quickly become expensive for families, particularly when you’re trying to keep children entertained for several weeks. The Great British Summertime Pass is designed to take some of that pressure away, giving families the freedom to visit as often as they like and enjoy a different experience every time.”

“The Government’s Great British Summer Savings Scheme gave us the opportunity to reduce the cost of the pass, and we wanted to make sure that saving went straight back to our visitors. It’s all about making great family days out more accessible and giving families the flexibility to enjoy everything happening at Walby this summer.”

Summer 2026 is one of Walby’s biggest yet, with a packed programme of attractions and activities taking place throughout the holidays. Visitors can explore the colourful Walby Flower Fields, find their way through the Maize Maze, enjoy Highland Cow Feeding, try Guinea Pig Fishing, join in with Foam Parties and Candy Cannon fun, as well as meet the farm’s animals.

Whatever the Great British weather decides to do, there’s plenty to enjoy. On sunny days, families can make the most of mini golf, foot golf, tractor rides, JCB diggers, trampolines and outdoor adventure play. If the weather takes a turn, visitors can head indoors to Cumbria’s largest Adventure Play Barn, explore the three-level Roman Fort Milecastle 62 or spend time in the Animal Barn, ensuring there’s something to enjoy whatever the forecast.

Designed to give families the freedom to visit whenever it suits them, the Great British Summertime Pass makes it easy to enjoy everything Walby Farm Park has to offer throughout the summer holidays, with no two visits needing to be the same.
