Who’s Coming to Wild on The Wall….
This year Wild on The Wall have many fantastic activities and workshops to get involved in. From learning survival skills to relaxing reiki to building your own sock puppets! There will be fun to be had for everyone.
ProWild Survival
ProWild Survival is a collection of outdoor enthusiasts that have put together their skills and qualifications to create fun and safe survival experiences for everyone, no matter age or capability. This year they will join us at Wild on the Wall and will be offering a woodland respite space where festival goers can come down, relax by the fire or join in with some of the workshops they will be holding where they will teach a range of outdoor skills!

The Enchanted Tea Cup
Emma is returning this year with her business, The Enchanted Tea Cup. This will be her 4th year at the festival and she is very excited.
My name is Emma and I have the pleasure of spending my 4th year at Wild on the Wall Family Festival. She rents a small unit from the lovely Dan Russell at Atlas Works Building. Here you will find Reiki, Meditation, Workshops, Tarot & Tea Leaf Readings, Sound Baths & Cake.
She will be easily spotted in her rainbow teepee where she will be offering one hour sessions of tarot or reiki and also free morning meditations at 10am. Emma said: “ Dan Russell is an inspiration to us all. I am very grateful to have been invited back. The bands are always amazing. You have to see Reggie…Really tight and great fun. Then there is the Amazing Poppy …that’s a girl with an awesome set of pipes. She also plays a big part in organising the event.
It’s not on the same scale as Glastonbury or T in the Park to name a few. But this wee festival, set in the beautiful Cumbrian countryside has HEART. I love it all. But my favourite part is sitting by the big fire at the end. Listening to acoustic guitars and a sing song… Gentle banter and merriment.”

Granville Studio
Rachel Owston raised on a Hilltop farm in Bewcastle not far from Walton, where Wild on the Wall is taking place.
After studying for a Bachelor of Arts degree in Surface Pattern at the University of Huddersfield, she was attracted to the bright lights of city life and the social scene. Such a large change from her country life growing up. Due to the condition fibromyalgia she was brought back to the love of art and back to painting.
Rachel has traded at local markets in South Shields where she now lives. Having never traded at a festival before, this will be her very first, she said: “I am very excited to have the opportunity to trade at this lovely family festival near the wilds of where I grew up.”
She will be bringing along some Original Art at Prints depicting all sorts of subjects from landscape scenery to birds, to abstract style work of surfers to abstract art love hearts.
Also ceramic mugs with dog portraits, a tractor range and boat range.
As well as ceramic coasters, greeting cards and keyrings all the artwork used on these items has been created by Rachel before being printed.

Sock Monkeys
Anne, better known as The Monkey Lady will be returning to the festival this year! Last year children had a blast at her workshops. Last year they made sock monkeys and caterpillars and even sock owls! You can expect much of the same imaginative fun at this years event and we can’t wait.

Just Messin
Just Messin is a children’s creative play centre on Botchergate in Carlisle. We also do bespoke themed parties. Just Messin on the Move also attends festivals, fayres and fundraisers with their tie dye workshops and children’s accessories stall! This year we will be bringing personalised sunglasses, jewellery, tie dye and croc charms!
This will be our third year at the festival! Cant wait to see you all there!
