With more support from fantastic local artists in the area, an extra day, and even a free-to-enter family day added to this year’s line-up, it’s set to be the best yet!

The four-day festival will start on Thursday with live music. From Friday onwards, a great mix of traders will join the party lining the harbourside, with the majority from the local area and a handful from afar bringing their wares, delicious food, and all kinds of makes and bakes. The markets will be accessible to everybody to come and soak up the atmosphere.
You can expect a weekend packed with live music, and with the line-up set to be announced in the coming weeks, expect some huge name drops!
The acts will perform in the Whitehaven Alive Arena on the Mitie Main Stage; you will require a ticket to enter the arena. Tickets are available via the website.
There will also be local artists performing on a stage beside the hub on the harbourside all day on Saturday.
On Sunday, there will be a community family fun day held within the arena, which will be totally free to the public. There will be plenty for the kids to enjoy, and some familiar characters will also be wandering around on the day, so pop along and say hi!
As Whitehaven Alive is now a registered CIC, Community Interest Company, every penny made will go back into organising future events.
This also means that the entire team involved in bringing such a fantastic event to the town does it all voluntarily!
Event director Liz Cannon said,
“I’m really excited for this year’s event; we have expanded and want to ensure that we are accessible to the whole community.
We are a dedicated team who just want to give the community an event to be excited about—none of this would be possible without our amazing volunteers or our fantastic sponsors, Mitie, Bounty Competitions, and Amentum.”
This year’s event is set to be brilliant, and we can’t wait to hear the lineup in the coming weeks!
