This weekend there is loads to do across the county with festivals, carnivals, live music and fun for the whole family!

Friday 8th July – Eskfest

Camping At Cardewlees

Kicking off this years music festivals is Eskfest! Cumbrias favourite micro-festival returns and they have plenty of day and weekend tickets left! And dont worry, Eskdale Valley has loads of permanent and pop-up campsites all within walking distance so you can still get that full festival experience!

Friday -Hardwicke Circus – OFS

Hardwicke Circus will be performing at the Old Fire Station in Carlisle on Friday – Following their huge Glasto gig the Cumbrian band are geared up for this summer, if youre looking for a night of great music head to OFS and check them out!

Friday – Wildlife Photographer of the Year Exhibition – The Beacon Museum

Friday marks the beginning of the wildlife photographer of the year exhibition held in the Beacon Museum in Whitehaven. Pop in and see some of the most fantastic wildlife photography taken over the last year! The exhibition will run until early September.

Saturday 9thMaryport Carnival hits the streets on Saturday. The parade will leave Fleming Square at 1pm and finishes on the west side of Ellen bridge. After 2 years the Carnival returns and this years parade will be lead by two NHS nurses!

 

Saturday – Lowca Fest: LowcaFest is a day for the whole family, with fairground rides, bouncy castle, face painting, cold beer and some fantastic local music its all set to be a fab day for everyone! There are still tickets available.
