Science Sensation Mark Thompson is heading to Workington
Mark is touring his award-winning Spectacular Science Show and will be blowing into the Carnegie Theatre on April 4th.
We all love the idea of creating bangs, explosions, and just an absolute mess.
Well, Mark is the man who can help your kids turn your home into a disaster zone.
Mark’s Spectacular Science Show, designed for both children and adults, explores the strange and magical properties of matter through explosions, pyrotechnics, and cool experiments.
It was awarded ‘Best Kid’s Show at Edinburgh Fringe’ and one of the “Top 20 Shows to See” by The List.
Mark is well known as the presenter of BBC Stargazing Live, which inspires millions of viewers to get out and enjoy the night sky.
He has appeared on The One Show, Good Morning Britain, This Morning, The Sky at Night, and many other Channel 4 documentaries.
Learn about the importance of STEM for young people, as well as astronomy, black holes, the moon, and the universe.
Spring is a great time for stargazing. Before dawn, when Mars, Venus, Jupiter, and Saturn are all lined up over the horizon, we see the return of the core of the Milky Way galaxy, and it is the peak time for shooting stars.
Mark is always up to date with what is happening in the night sky across the UK, and there could very well be something interesting happening in our skies that he will tell you about.
