Oaktree Animals – Pets of the Week!
Oak Tree Animals’ Charity provide a safe place for cats, dogs and equines in their time of need. They look to rehome dogs, cats, and equines and work to support good, long-term healthy relationships between animals and their owners out in the community.
Meet their pets of the week….
THUNDER
Pretty Thunder came to us after her owner sadly passed away. Having lived a very sheltered life it took staff weeks to gain her trust and build her confidence. We are pleased to say that she is now doing much better and has made some new friends, showing us what a sweet girl she is. She deserves to find a new home with someone who has the patience to help her blossom.
As Thunder can be shy of new people any adopter must be willing to visit her a few times to build a bond. She will also need a quiet home with no other pets or children.
This lovely lass is a bit on the chunky side so will need to continue her diet in her new home. She would love a secure outside area that she can explore when she feels confident enough.

TRIGGER
Trigger is a curious cob who loves lots of attention. He was born last year on site and is now ready to find a home with experience handling youngsters, to grow and continue his education.
He stands well to be groomed and can pick up his feet, although is still learning how to stand for the farrier as he can be nervous of this. He is good for the vet. Trigger catches and leads well, having more confidence when led alongside another horse. He is a quick learner. Trigger was a very nervous foal at the start of his life so would benefit from a calm but confident handler.
He is a typical youngster with a short attention span, which any potential adopter needs to keep in mind when spending time and bringing Trigger on. As he is only a small cob he will likely not grow bigger than 12hh.
