Trains, Planes, automobiles, and so much more! Jacksons Models really is the biggest little shop in Cumbria, supplying everything someone who is into model making might need or could ever possibly want, and they’re right here in Cumbria!
Based in Wigton, the shop has been in business for 23 years and has built up a huge following, with clients from all over the world seeking their products and services.
Brenda Jackson, owner, said, “We have a lot of regular local customers as well as quite a large following overseas. We have one client in Australia that calls the shop on a weekly basis!”
Their range is massive; they stock some of the biggest brands in the industry, such as Tamiya, Hornby, Airfix, Humbrol, and Corgi, as well as lots more. They are also currently stocking a variety of diecast models as well as wooden boat kits!
At Jacksons, it doesn’t matter whether you are an expert in the hobby or a complete novice who wants to try their hand at something different; their friendly and knowledgeable staff are on hand to help and advise where needed.
Jacksons are renowned for their customer service. If there is something that you can’t find in store, they will happily source it and order it in for you wherever possible!
Brenda Jackson, owner, said, “We strive to be as helpful as we can and will source and order anything we can for our customers. We have been in business for over 20 years now and have gained quite a lot of knowledge and experience in this time. We will answer any questions we can. We do our best to keep our prices reasonable too, which is why I think we have so many returning customers!”
