Renowned folk act Winter Wilson are back on the road, following a hugely successful UK tour with folk-rock legends Fairport Convention – and the tour takes them to Carlisle’s Old Fire Station.

The band offer tight harmonies, killer songs and a lot of fun, performing a fine repertoire of self-penned songs which tell stories of everyday life which often reflect the bigger picture of the world we all live in.

While their latest release has received plaudits from critics around the world, it is in live performance that the pair really excel – interspersing great songs, stunning harmonies and fine musicianship with often hilarious tales of life on the road.

The band will be performing at the Old Fire Station on August 31st as part of the Carlisle Fringe.

Tickets cost £12 in advance, or £14 on the door. They are available online or direct from the venue.
