Summer Fun in Vulcan Park

A host of free family friendly activities will be on offer in Workington’s Vulcan Park on Saturday 27 August from 1 – 4pm.

Activities will include sports, crafts, storytelling, a climbing wall and a bird of prey display. Matrix Circus will attend the event with a circus skills workshop which will include poi, juggling and hula hooping. All activities are free of charge and no booking is required.

Admission is on a first come, first served basis.

The day is organised by Workington Town Council with South Workington Youth Partnership.

They’ve previously held fun days in Harrington and Moorclose with over 100 children attending each event.
