A GREAT TIME TO BE A KID!

Celebrate Easter half-term at The Beacon Museum.

This Easter half-term, the Beacon Museum is packed with fun and family-friendly activities.

From 30th March – 10th April, 2026, children can join Beakid’s Easter-themed workshops on 30th March, running on various dates until the 10th of April.

On 31st March, the museum will host a Glass Workshop for Kids, giving young creatives the chance to explore this unique craft. For animal lovers, Pet Encounters will take place on 2nd and 9th April, offering a hands-on experience with a variety of animals.

In addition to the Easter activities, the museum is excited to present the ‘I Grew Up in the 90s’ exhibition, running from 28th March to 21st June 2026. Curated by collector and cultural commentator Matt Fox, the exhibition takes visitors on a nostalgic journey through the Nineties.

The exhibition features over 200 iconic objects and artworks that capture the spirit of the decade — from the Spice Girls to Lara Croft, Power Rangers to Pokémon, and Trainspotting to Teletubbies. Visitors can explore 90s fashion, toys, video games, film, food, and music, all through the lens of youth culture.

Whether you’re looking for creative workshops, interactive animal encounters, or a trip down memory lane, the Beacon Museum offers something for everyone this Easter half-term.
