Doctor Dolittle Comes to Oak Tree Animals’ Charity

Oak Tree Animals’ Charity will welcome Doctor Dolittle as they host an exciting outdoor theatre event this May.

A popular national theatrical group, Illyria, will bring their production of The Adventures of Doctor Dolittle to Oak Tree Animals’ Charity on Tuesday 29 May.

Illyria specialise in outdoor theatre and have travelled across the country and internationally, putting on enchanting performances for all ages.

The funny and exciting adventure of Doctor Dolittle and his furry friends will delight the whole family. But this much-loved tale also has a strong message about responsibility towards animals and the environment making Oak Tree a fitting venue.

All of the money raised from the event will go towards helping the charity rehome and care for local animals in need.

Charlotte Pinder, from Oak Tree Animals Charity, said: “We are so excited to have Illyria performing here at Oak Tree, raising awareness of animal welfare and are hoping for this fabulous outdoor theatre production to raise much needed funds for the charity.”

To coincide with this exciting event, the charity have launched a competition for the chance to win a family ticket (2 adults and 2 children) to see the performance on Tuesday 29 May at 2.30pm.

To enter head over to Oak Tree’s Facebook page @OakTreeAnimalsCharity before Monday 14 May.
