The second in a series of themed live music events, Live & Electric, comes to Whitehaven’s Rosehill Theatre on Friday 13 July.

Live & Electric: The Sound of Musicals, presented by After 4 Productions, will feature showstopping numbers performed by talented local musical theatre artists and a house band.

The event follows April’s successful Live & Electric: Songwriters evening at Rosehill and will once again be run by West Cumbrian music professionals Lee Shackley and Zoe Warren, who will also perform on the night.

Zoe said: “The songwriters event was a brilliant success. The audience had a great time, the songwriters had a great time, and so did the band and ourselves!

“The atmosphere was certainly ‘electric’ and we are really excited about the musicals night!”

An impressive list of local performers due to take to the stage for The Sound of Musicals includes Beth Clark, Kayleigh Cullen, Mark Stilwell and Graham Hawley, Steph Bradshaw, Maria Morton and Pauline Robertson, Evie Askew, John Turpin, Amy Morton, Roger Wilson, and Mark Seldon. The programme includes songs from Wicked, Les Misérable, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Mama Mia!, Fiddler on the Roof, The Greatest Showman, Chess, Little Shop of Horrors and more.
