IT’S PANTO SEASON… OH YES IT IS!
The festive season in Cumbria is looking extra merry with a variety of pantomimes and Christmas shows lined up!

Whether you’re into the classic tales of adventure or prefer a more whimsical holiday experience, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Here’s a roundup of what’s on this season:

Hansel & Gretel
27th November – 7th December; The Green Room, Carlisle
What to Expect: A traditional pantomime full of laughs, songs, and slapstick comedy, ideal for families. Known for their popular productions, this year’s “Hansel & Gretel” will no doubt charm audiences with its humor and heartwarming moments. Aladdin
2nd – 4th December; Carnegie Theatre, Workington

Santa’s Christmas Cracker
6th December; Rosehill Theatre, Whitehaven
What to Expect: A festive, musical adventure for young families (especially 2-8 year-olds) with Father Christmas, Dotty the Elf, and interactive fun. After the show, every child will get to meet Santa and receive a special gift. A perfect way to bring the magic of Christmas to life for little ones!

10th – 28th December; Theatre by the Lake, Keswick

The Little Mermaid
29th & 30th December; Rheged Centre, Penrith
What to Expect: Dive under the sea with a fresh take on this classic tale, brimming with colourful characters, sensational songs, and plenty of laughter. Perfect for families, this underwater adventure will enchant audiences of all ages.
