The John Peel Theatre in Wigton is set to host the first of what will hopefully be many professional theatre shows in the venue.

As Wigton Theatre Club looks to expand the range of entertainment on offer at the John Peel Theatre, hopes are high that Peter Macqueen’s critically-acclaimed one-man show “The Professor of Adventure” will be a hit.

The fully professional show is available at a discounted price to all attendees, but to cover costs the venue will need to sell at least half of its seats – with locals prompted to support the arts in a dedicated venue by booking in advance to ensure further professional productions can take place in the future.

The Professor of Adventure takes place on August 10th at 7:30pm, and tickets cost just £10.
