For the past 18 years, Steve has proudly run the Sandford Arms, and today it remains a true family affair, with his partner and children all playing their part.
Steve and his son serve up quality pub classics from the kitchen. Using locally sourced ingredients they create hearty traditional pub favorites, from steak pie and golden fish and chips to stacked, juicy burgers you’ll definitely need to wear comfy pants!
Behind the bar, Steve’s daughters keep glasses topped up with a great range of ales, lagers, wines and spirits, adding to the friendly, relaxed atmosphere that makes this village pub so special.
With seven beautiful ensuite rooms offering king size or superking beds, it is also the perfect countryside escape. Steve says, “if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place to do it. Peaceful, quiet and free from light pollution, the night skies in March and April are simply breathtaking.”
