One of Cumbria’s premier venues is gearing up for its annual Beer Festival.
The bank holiday weekend looks set to be one of the biggest, busiest and best weekends on the Gosforth Hall calendar, with attendees expected to arrive from far and wide to enjoy a selection of guest ales, barbecued food and live music in splendrous surroundings. The restaurant will also be open for those who want to experience a famous Gosforth Hall Inn Pie.

In addition to a varied selection of beers spread across and interior and exterior bar, there will also be a range of gins.
The 17th Century Inn is renowned for its successful annual Beer Festival which attracts visitors from all over the country, many of which stay for the weekend in Gosforth Hall’s many luxurious hotel rooms.

This year will be no exception, with live music starting on Friday evening. Renowned Cumbrian folk act Herdus will be providing the entertainment from 8pm.
On Saturday, Jamie Gillis will be bringing his unique musical talent to Gosforth Hall at 5pm, followed by Vortigen at 7pm and Black Cat Bone at 8.30pm.
Glasgow’s James Edwin and the Borrowed Band bring their blues-folk to the venue at 6.30pm on Sunday, followed by The Roosters and 8.30pm.

Attendees to Gosforth Hall Inn Beer Festival who wish to stay for an evening or two are advised to book in advance, as rooms are known to quickly sell out.
