Golden Girl: Muncaster’s Hannah Honoured at National Tourism Awards
Hannah Clapp of Muncaster Castle has been recognised on the national stage at the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2025 finals, taking home the GOLD award in the Unsung Hero category.
Representing the whole of Team Muncaster and the Western Lake District, Hannah attended the glittering ceremony in Brighton, where her outstanding dedication and behind-the-scenes contributions to the visitor experience were celebrated alongside the best in English tourism.
This national recognition follows her earlier success at the 2024 Cumbria Tourism Awards, where she won the regional Unsung Hero title and secured her place in the VisitEngland finals.
As Head of Experiences, Hannah is known for going above and beyond to make every guest feel welcome, all while supporting her colleagues with professionalism and care.
