Travelling company The Three Inch Fools return to Muncaster with a new production of Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream on the Castle lawn.

The production will start at 6pm. The seating area on the lawn will be open from around 5pm.

In common with all outdoor events, the production will continue in all but the worst weather and so if it rains, we will get wet! and tickets are non-refundable as long as the performance goes ahead. As well as suitable clothing for a British summer(!), please bring your own picnic rugs or low-backed seating.

There will be a barbecue and bar open close to the performance area for food and drinks before the play and at least up to the end of the interval. You are also welcome to picnic.

Tickets are £14.00 for adults, £12.50 for children (5-15, under 5s free) with a 10% discount for Friends of Muncaster and are on sale now. Prices include gardens entry for the day from 10.30am including Hawk & Owl Centre displays with Castle entry available for a small upgrade on the door, so visitors are encouraged to make a day of it! Stay on for the performance or you can leave the site and return for the evening too – just keep your wristbands.
