CORSETS & CAUSES
Carlisle’s Charity Basque Night
by Danielle Murphy
This October, Carlisle is set to host a very special evening in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the UK’s leading breast cancer research and support charity, Breast Cancer Now.
On Friday 18th October 2025, Club Britannia, Lowther Street, will open its doors for a Charity Basque Night packed with entertainment, music, and fundraising.

The evening promises dazzling performances from burlesque dance group The Honey Boos, alongside live music from The Vowz. Guests can also look forward to a lively raffle with multiple prizes up for grabs, ensuring the night is as much about fun as it is about supporting an important cause.
Entry is completely free, with doors opening at 8pm until late, making it an inclusive event for everyone who wants to join the fight against breast cancer while enjoying a vibrant night out in the city.
Funds raised on the night will go directly to Breast Cancer Now, a charity dedicated to funding world-class research and providing life-changing care and support for everyone affected by breast cancer. Their vision is that by 2050, everyone who develops the disease will live – and be supported to live well.
October is internationally recognised as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness, supporting those affected, and funding vital research. Events like the Charity Basque Night bring the local community together to show solidarity and make a tangible difference. Stay up to date with event details at: facebook.com/feecharity
