Denton House to host artworks by acclaimed Cumbrian artist

Exhibited at the Denton House Cafe

The café gallery at Denton House, Gosforth, will be showing a selection of artworks by Gareth Harrison from 1st to 10th June.

Paul Smales and his son Josh recently re-launched the premises, and will be utilising the wall space for art to enable café customers to enjoy their surroundings whilst having coffee, cake or a light lunch.

Gareth, who often exhibits with the Irton Group at Santon Bridge, is well known locally for his boldly executed landscape paintings and photographs, many depicting the moods and seasons of the nearby Wasdale valley. Denton House also stock cards and prints from selected Cumbrian artists, and is situated in Gosforth Square with free parking available in the nearby village car park. The café is open Monday to Saturday, 10-5.
