The Penrith-based band comprises: sassy lead singer Clare Torn\, a sizzling horn section with Jon Skelton on saxophone and Chris Torn and Rebekah Gall on trumpets\, the super-tight rhythm of Tony Atkinson and Bill Turner on guitar and bass\, Alice Sheppard’s rich sound on keyboard and the energetic Nick Thomas’s one-man work-out on drums. Male vocalists are Jon\, Bill and Nick. \nThe band loves recreating the authentic sound of the classic soul singers such as Otis Redding\, Sam and Dave\, Aretha Franklin\, Dusty Springfield\, Wilson Pickett\, James Brown\, also Amy Winehouse\, and Plan B… in Soul Junction style! \nThe band has already had huge success playing at festivals\, pubs\, clubs and private events throughout the country.
