DESCRIPTION:  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \nIf you think they don’t make music like they used to then Stanwix Park’s Retro Music Weekend is for you.  \n \nThe Retro Music Weekend returns on the 24th\, 25th & 26th of April.  Just think classic 60s\, 70s\, 80s and 90s tunes brought to you by entertainers who love the era as much as you and you’re on the right track.    \n \nThis a celebration of music from the “old days” with five sessions\, night & day of live music from Friday Evening through to Sunday evening. \n \nRenowned Cavern Club resident band\, Madison\, are the perfect opening act on Friday and Ben Thompson will wow the crowds with his ultimate Elvis tribute.  Ben was crowned the 2018 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Champion by Elvis Presley Enterprises and he brings a spectacular show recreating some of The Kings most iconic songs. It’s sure to be an amazing night and Ben is backed by a full live band which makes this a show not to be missed. \n \nThe weekend is held together by Retro DJ’s between all live sessions\, who’ll be playing rarities and all classic favourites from the halcyon years of rock and pop. \n \nOther acts include: \nThe Quickbeats  \nA Hammond driven upbeat tribute to iconic soul\, mod and R&B music.  \nSkyLine Band \nOne of the most in-demand rock party bands! \nHudson Sisters \nEnergetic retro classics from North East sibling duo! \nAtlantic Soul Orchestra  \nThe UK’s hardest-hitting and most authentic sounding soul band. A high-octane\, dance floor-filling show that showcases some of the classiest music of all time! \nTribute to The Carpenters \nEase your way back into the groove with this live show dedicated to perfect vocalist that was Karen Carpenter \nReggae on the Rocks \nAuthentic 4 piece Reggae band from Nottingham. \n \nWith massive professional stage sound and lighting added to at least 10 fantastic live acts from all corners of the UK\, RMW is not to be missed!  If nostalgia is your thing or you just want to take a trip down memory lane\, then start the car\, RMW is for you!
